Friday Night Heat Escape

Something you don't tend to notice during the work week, sitting in your perfectly air conditioned office: it got damn hot. I mean 90F and humid hot. Too hot to cook inside. Not that you need an excuse to grill, but hey.

We cooked up jalapeno/bacon poppers, baked potatoes (cooked directly on the coals, lets see you do that with a gas grill) and some steak tips. The steak was a bit disappointing, I think mostly because I got it at Star market which doesn't have the best meat department. It just wasn't as tender as it should be. Regardless, being able to cook a meal in this heat is a good thing.
